AUTOSHIP responds to EU’s need to increase multimodal transport and relieve road congestion by developing and integrating Key Enabling Technologies for Autonomous Ships for demonstration on two use-cases:

(a) Short Sea Shipping (SSS) on coastal routes in Norway;

(b) Inland Waterways (IWW) transport in and around the major port of Antwerp & the Flemish region
